There aren’t a lot of deathbed conversions in the Bible. The thief on the cross is the one that comes to mind. And since there aren’t many of them, we need to reach people daily for Jesus.
If someone has a sudden death, like in a car accident, there is no time for a deathbed conversion. If someone has a slow death, like with an illness, there is at least the possibility for one.
Scott had the privilege of being a Marine and a Police Officer during his journey through this life. Those are good things, but they are not the most important things.
People were witnessing to him and praying for him throughout his life, but it wasn’t until he was facing death that he began to listen.

Here is a short excerpt:
“‘Tell me, Scott. Did you pray along with me and ask the Lord to forgive your sin and be your Savior?’ Once again, Scott immediately responded again with 2-3 quick signals from his hand! WOW! This was incredible! Joy filled our hearts as the three of us held hands and Mark prayed, thanking the Lord for the time we had together. Soon after, I explained we would be leaving, so he could rest.”
2 Corinthians 6:2
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
God is real. Jesus is real. Salvation is real. All of us are passing over to the other side. Make sure you are ready. Make sure you are getting others ready for that journey as well.
Until the nets are full,
P.S. Last week, we featured this video in one of our newsletters, but for some reason, some of you weren’t able to watch it. So we found it on a different platform and are posting it again. Remember, eternity can come at you quick. Are you getting people ready for that day?

P.P.S. Mary knows what she is here on earth to do. She loves the Lord and loves the lost. She sent us the following email about her witnessing as she walks. Pray for her and for those teenagers to keep listening to her!
“I’m still passing out tracts everyday on my walks. I have come to understand God has divine appointments for me each day. There is a group of young men that I have been praying for. They hang out on the trail and “get high” before school starts. I shared tracts with them when I first met them. Since that first meeting, there have been some one-on-one conversations regarding salvation with a couple of the boys. I tell them all, each time I see them, that I am praying for them. Two are on the football team, a team that is up for “state” again this year. If they make it, it would be the third year in a row. Anyway, I don’t mean to ramble on. Just about to head out to see who God has for me to meet with today.”
