Thanksgiving Day is a great time to reflect on the Lord and His goodness for all that He has provided for us in this life and in the life to come. Without the Lord’s goodness, we would all be lost, both now and for eternity.
Give thanks to the Lord around your Thanksgiving table for the many blessings He gives to you each and every day. Truly, the Lord is to be praised!

P.S. I love to read. Could do it all day, if life allowed for it! I recently read this book. Easily one of the top 20 books that I have read in my life. And it might be the best fiction book I have ever laid my eyes on.
The storyline is so compelling. Actions have consequences, and those consequences can drive you into some dark places. But there is always hope from the One who created us.
The book deals with modern-day situations that can happen to any of us in our lives. But where do we go when trouble arises in our lives? The book deals with family issues, relationships, searching for truth, etc.
Probably, what I liked the best was the characters. They were so well developed. Rafe, the main character, is just fascinating beyond measure. There is so much going on inside that young man as he navigates situations, and he is on a search for truth. Pain, many times, will lead you to find what you have been looking for your whole life. Sin can destroy a life, but God’s redemptive power is a sight to behold.
The author also created some very strong, powerful Christian male figures. You do not see that in a lot of books these days. You do not see it at all on TV and in movies.
The other thing the author did that I liked so much was include Bible verses right in the storyline. You do not have to go and look them up.
This is a great book for the lost or saved. It will impact a person right where they are in life.
Tragedy, second chances, forgiveness, redemption—this book has it all. Totally compelling book. Riveting. So, so hard to put it down, but we do have to sleep at times! But if you ever write, you know a good author when you read one. This is a great author. Period.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I hope you read it and give it away to others.
