Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:16
We need to use our time wisely while we are here on earth. We need to make the most of our opportunities. Look at what Rhonda does with her time:
One of my pastimes is going to garage sales. On one particular day, I tossed my tiny purse over my shoulder, checked it for several tracts, and was on my way.
First stop a couple gals whom I gave Infinity cards.
Second stop several adults, triple-car garage, visited about the times. I gave them each a different tract, and they were appreciative.
Third stop just one gal who felt the need to tell me about her adventure of being in the ER a few hours early with scary, severe pains/cramps in her leg and a migraine. I listened, and as she finished, I just said, “So YOU are the person that needs this booklet! She thanked me and immediately started reading the One Second After You… booklet.
Fourth stop three gals, but when I opened my tiny purse to hand her a tract, it was EMPTY!! Disgusted with myself, I proceeded to my car and replenished my purse. ( Side note —I usually have 1 or 2 Hispanic tracts along, too.)
Fifth stop–Bingo! An Hispanic man was running the sale. When I handed him the tract, he got the biggest grin on his face
Just a day in the life of a garage – sales. We certainly need to redeem the time, and you, Mark Cahill, are an excellent catalyst for doing just that!
Thank you so much!!
Rhonda
_______
Rhonda sure is a good seed-planter! Amazing opportunities are all around us. We just need to take advantage of them.
Sowing seeds is fun. Will you be sowing any today?
And, yes, I did send Rhonda my shirt size so she can pick up some deals as she visits every garage in her area!!
Until the nets are full,
P.S. Since fall is here, we have decided to let the suggested donation for tracts fall, too! They are now reduced by 25%. This makes it a perfect time to stock up and have your purse or pockets filled with the message of the gospel!
