We received this neat testimony not long ago, and I thought you would like to read it. The letter was written in Spanish, and the translation is below:
Good evening,
My name is Daniel, and I will share with you a small part of my testimony.
I had the opportunity to read the books (the only thing you won’t be able to do in heaven and just a heartbeat away) while I was an immigrant in a prison in Denver, Colorado. This time was one of spiritual growth, and these two books came into my hands. Of great blessing, and they opened my understanding to carry out the great commission that Jesus entrusted to us, and that is to save souls for Him. At this moment, I am in my country, Colombia, and I have not been able to get Mark’s books. I would love to have them to return, read, and share.
Thank you, and blessings,
Daniel

Being in prison is not the end of the world. For many, it is the beginning of getting their life on the right track! Prisoners realize they have hit rock bottom. Some want to wallow in “rock bottom,” but others want a change.
We see the same thing outside of prison. We see people in that same boat. What do people need at that point in life? Simple: Jesus! The question becomes, “How will they find Jesus?” That is simple as well. Either you and I will tell them about Him, or you and I will give them some literature to read.
One of the things we do here at the ministry is bless a couple of prison ministry groups with our books in English and Spanish. Why? There are “Daniels” in the world who are trying to figure out this life and the life to come.
1 Corinthians 3:6-10
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
Seed planters know that they don’t always see results from the seeds they plant. So we plant and pray. It’s the only way to live. Leave the results up to the King. He can handle all of that. We just need to do our part: plant and pray!
Until the nets are full,
P.S. You can be a faithful witness who plants seeds everywhere you go. The highways and byways of life are where you will find the lost. Rita and her friends love sharing Jesus with others. It is what we do as believers. Whether witnessing at your hotel to a soccer team, at a juvenile detention center, or similar places, there are all kinds of places to plant seeds for the Lord. Where will you be planting seeds today?
Good Afternoon,
Today, the last of our One Heartbeat Away books was given out. I got as many pictures as I could. Thank you so much. The kids love especially this one. A few were given out at the hotel we were staying at. I can’t thank you enough. A lot of them went to a church, and they distributed them to others. All were given away. ❤
Blessings,
Mama Rita
P.P.S. Linda got a chance to witness to and encourage some radio personalities recently. You may not know the faces (radio tends to do that to us!), but they are Larry Elder, Chris Stigall, Mike Gallagher, and Hugh Hewitt. Souls matter to Linda. Make sure they matter to you as well.
And this book has been put in the hands of some other people as well!
