So, I got hungry again! Happens every once in a while. Had a nice time at Sprouts. A lady and her mom were in front of me in the checkout line, so I bought their groceries. Seemed like a nice gesture. I let them know that Jesus said it is more blessed to give than to receive, and they were getting a blessing that day. Then we started talking.
We ended up hearing from the same lady later in day when she sent this “thank you through Facebook.
You really never know what the people in line in front or behind you are going through. It is our job to be the light of Christ to the world and to open up opportunities so He can work His wonders through us.
Well, I just got back from Sprouts again! I bought groceries for the lady in front of me and told her why. She started shouting, “Praise the Lord!! Hallelujah! We basically had church in the middle of the grocery store! She brought over the lady she works for. She was her caretaker. We had a really blessed time. Then a cashier walked over and said, “I finished that book you gave me! So we were having all kinds of fun with no social distancing involved!
Colossians 4:2-6
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
We need to make the most out of every opportunity.
Coffee Shops, Restaurants
Gas Stations, Grocery Stores
There are opportunities everywhere to share our faith. We just have to dive right in and let the Lord use us. Have a great time diving into people’s lives this fall!
Until the nets are full,
P.S. More information has come out about the death of George Floyd.
Floyd had such a high level of fentanyl in his system that if he was found dead at home, it would “be acceptable to call an O.D. The autopsy [by Dr. Baker] revealed no physical evidence suggesting that Mr. Floyd died of asphyxiation.

Even if the officer had lifted his knee off of George Floyd’s neck, Mr. Floyd was still going to die that day, unless there was some kind of some supernatural intervention that would have allowed him to live. The questions we need to ask are really simple:
- Where is Mr. Floyd spending eternity today?
- Who took the time to witness to him about Jesus and told him about the cross of Christ and His blood that washes as white as snow?
