Making the Time

Followers of Jesus Christ should be reading their Bibles from front to back each year. We need to get more of the Word into us, so God can get more of the Word out of us.

You only have to read 3 ½ chapters of your Bible each day to read it through completely in one year. It only takes ten or fifteen minutes a day, which leaves you plenty of time to dive deeper into other books of the Bible or to study other biblical topics.

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Thessalonians 3:1

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

Psalm 119:89

For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

One of the keys to achieving this goal is to not get behind on your daily reading. So, get ahead of the curve. If you have to play catch up, sometimes you give up. Shut off the TV. Turn off your phone. Set aside the time for just you and the Lord. Then, go out and meet someone new and share with them what you have learned!

Until the nets are full,
