We need more biblical men influencing and impacting the lives of people during these days, especially when it comes to young people. We need these men to point people in the right direction―away from idols and toward the cross.
I caught this clip today. Let me know if you hear anything in it that seems off to you?

Well, it sure seems like Coach Tang loves Jesus Christ! We need more men of God living out their faith on a daily basis and in a public way.
Maybe it was the excitement of the moment that caused something to come out of his mouth in the wrong way. It can happen to all of us. But, no, it absolutely does matter what your faith is and who you put your faith in. The Jesus of Mormonism, Roman Catholicism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Islam cannot save anyone. A person can have all the faith in the world in a false Jesus, but none of those false Christs can remove their sin. What matters is not that you have faith, but what matters is the object of your faith. Someone can believe and have faith in something that is not true.
Not sure what was going on there, but sometimes when we have a platform to speak, and we know we are saying something that offends folks, we can be easily tempted to tamp it down. None of us likes the heat of persecution. The Kansas State administration really would not like him saying that Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Well, too bad. He is. And that man needed to say it out loud and proud.
Please say a prayer for him. He seems like a man who got into coaching for the right reasons.
2 Timothy 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Persecution goes with the territory for believers. Enjoy it as much as you enjoy your team winning a game. One of those brings Him glory and one of those does not.
Until the nets are full,
P.S. It’s always our goal to be reaching the lost wherever we go. To be prepared, you might want to pick up tracts for yourself, your friends, your Bible study group, or your church, so the gospel will reach those who need to know that they can be forgiven of their sins. Today is the day of salvation for everyone you meet.
