We kind of thought that our newsletter about gambling might strike a nerve with some folks. The good news is that it seemed to get people thinking. That is what we were hoping for. Here is a link to that newsletter in case you want to check it out:

One response we received was from David, who conveyed the story about his uncle whose life was ruined because of gambling:
Hi, my dear brother and co-laborer,
Such an awesome and encouraging newsletter! As my brothers and I go to Tahoe to preach and hand out tracts at those same casinos, we are bombarded by both opposition and wonderful fruit. Please pray for us, once again.
Also, this newsletter is near and dear to my heart as my uncle was a victim of this. He had “the life,” until he didn’t. He lost $400,000 at the Indian casinos in Minnesota. He went from having everything this world could offer to nothing. Although, he is clean and sober now, please pray for him.
Before I got saved and was on my “spiritual” journey, he said he had a “revelation” and was giving me Wayne Dyer CDs. My spirit knew it wasn’t right. When I got saved, I was not hesitant to share with him the only way. I tried to witness to him again when he almost died of Covid, but he is still having nothing to do with it. Please pray for him. His name is Ron. I don’t believe he has much longer to live.
May Jesus bless you, as always, my faithful brother, and may your fruit continue to increase one-hundred fold.
When you see the destruction of gambling firsthand, you don’t need any studies to tell you how gambling affects people. Trust me, you already know.
The reason David had a check in his spirit about Wayne Dyer is because Wayne was a radical New-Ager. He was well known as a self-help guru. Wayne knows that Jesus is the only right answer now. Why? He crossed over in 2015 and is awaiting the final Judgment. Yet, his teachings are still doing damage to this day.

Joshua 4:6,7
That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.
We are all leaving a legacy behind us. That legacy will either glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, or it won’t. Place some “memorial stones” in people’s lives today. They can have some fantastic eternal reverberations in the years to come by pointing others to the cross of Christ.
Until the nets are full,
P.S. You might want to think about setting out some books for the people who come to your place of business or starting your own yard library. Or, maybe, try placing some books and booklets inside of the yard libraries you see as you are out and about.
Hi, Mark,
Just wanted to say hello to you from the beach. I hope you are doing well. I finally got the little library constructed and set up. Here’s a picture for you. Quite a few books have been taken, and we pray for each person who takes one as we watch from our balcony.
As you know, I have had One Heartbeat Away in the lobby of my dental practice in Minnesota and now in Alabama for years. We put a sticker on them that says, “Like it? Keep it, read it, pass it on.” I have come to learn that just because I work in the Bible Belt, not everyone is saved. They fly out of the office.
Thank you for your friendship.
