I received this email from a great friend of the ministry, Charlotte Anne. She lives in Northern Ireland and loves to share her faith. She is a bold woman of the Lord. She sent this email the other day:
“My brother, Ernest, passed away Saturday evening at 9 p.m. Massive heart attack, we suspect (body autopsy due today). He and his wife (from Honduras) had been giving out gospel materials all day Saturday. They came home afterwards; he sat down on a chair, drank a cuppa tea, and died. I will miss him. We were close.”

This is really a “catch-22” for me. For sure, for sure, for sure, we are going to miss godly brothers who are bold soul-winners and who encourage us in life. But my, oh, my, what a way to die! What a way to enter the presence of The Most High God—spending your last day reaching out to lost folks and not being ashamed of the gospel! And, then, a little bit later that day, you get to see, face-to-face, the Son of God, who you just spent the day sharing about! That is a total wow to me!
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
2 Timothy 4:6-8
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
That is how we want to see Jesus—having been about His business before taking that last wonderful breath here and then taking that next AMAZING breath in His presence. Hallelujah!!
Until the nets are full,
P.S.
P.P.S. Impact their lives by handing them a tract! This man is reaching everyone he can. He even stands at bus stops and hands people a tract as they get off the bus! Great idea. Makes you wonder if any of these passengers will be thankful for him in heaven.
