The Faith of Abraham

Mar 20, 2017

As you continue reading through your Bible front to back this year, you are going to run into some amazing verses!

Genesis 15:1

After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Abram had just returned victorious from some major battles. The enemy would probably retaliate. That happens a lot in war. God is reminding Abram that He is his shield. He is, was, and always will be his protector.

But never forget, the Lord is the reward we will always be looking for! The spoils of war pale in comparison to what no make that Who we most want in life, the Lord!

John 17:3

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

It is going to be great to meet those in Heaven family, friends, and strangers who have gone before us as well as enjoying all that God is preparing for us now in eternity. But the best part of Heaven of heaven will be finally seeing and being with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit! Keep telling others about what Heaven will be like and what they do not want to miss forever!!

Until the nets are full,
