Every Day is Mother’s Day

Every-Day-is-Mothers-Day-card

Moms and Dads, this one is for you! It’s also for all of you moms-to-be, potential moms, and those of you who have become moms along the way in the journey of life! And, men, if you know a lady who fits any of these categories, then this talk is for you to watch as well.

Since we’re talking about moms this week, I decided to ask a friend what it’s like to be a mother. She wrote:

Proverbs 31:26-28

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

We’ve had a lot of great feedback about this talk from men as well as from ladies. It might also be helpful for you or someone you know.

When you stop to think about it, every day is Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and even Children’s Day. Remember to thank the Lord for your mom and all she has done for you throughout the years. She’s encouraged you and probably prayed countless hours for you and your walk of faith.

Proverbs 23:23-25

Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

Nothing makes parents more proud than to see their children walking in truth, wisdom, and faith. And the Lord loves it, too! Enjoy!

Until the nets are full,
