Susan Wojcicki died. You might not know the name, but if you are techie, you will. And you will also know her handiwork. She began working for Google but was really known for taking this thing called “YouTube” and making it into one of the biggest tech platforms out there.
Her husband wrote the following about her passing on Facebook:
“‘It is with profound sadness that I share the news of Susan Wojcicki’s passing. My beloved wife of 26 years and mother to our five children left us today after 2 years of living with non-small cell lung cancer,’ Troper wrote in the post. ‘Susan was not just my best friend and partner in life, but a brilliant mind, a loving mother, and a dear friend to many. Her impact on our family and the world was immeasurable.’
“‘We are heartbroken, but grateful for the time we had with her. Please keep our family in your thoughts as we navigate this difficult time.'”
Did you notice anything missing from his statement?
Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google and Alphabet said the following about Susan Wojcicki:
“‘She is as core to the history of Google as anyone, and it’s hard to imagine the world without her,’ Pichai wrote. ‘She was an incredible person, leader, and friend who had a tremendous impact on the world, and I’m one of countless Googlers who is better for knowing her. We will miss her dearly. Our thoughts are with her family. RIP, Susan.'”

Sometimes, you wonder what it takes for God to get someone’s attention. He was very gracious to Susan by allowing her to have a slow death. She had plenty of time to repent and believe upon Jesus for the forgiveness of her sins.
Sadly, her 19-year-old son died recently from a drug overdose. Does losing a child cause you to run toward God or away from God?
Luke 12:15
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
You can strive to be one of the biggest movers and shakers in Silicon Valley and become a gazillionaire, if you want to, but what value will it have when you meet the Most High God?
Matthew 16:24-26
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
I am begging you, don’t waste your life. Make sure your life has tons and tons and tons of eternal value. You want your life to count for Him on this side of death and on the other side as well.
Souls, souls, souls. Finish the race well.

P.S. Answer Five Bible Questions! Whether it is a state or county fair, a boardwalk, a college campus, or any type of festival, setting up a table and getting into conversations with the lost is a great, great thing to do! The Crawford family had a “National Night Out” in their area recently. So, they and some friends from church set up a table and sign, and were ready to roll. They let me know that people loved the Bible questions they posed and winning a free prize. They found some nice stainless steel mugs at a discount to giveaway. Four 18- or 19-year-olds came up to their table and answered every question correctly. They asked them, “How did you know all of that?” The teenagers said they went to a Catholic school! So you know what that meant: It led to a fascinating conversation and the planting of seeds. This family said they were able to give away a lot of materials that evening. What will you be doing in your area to reach more people for Jesus?
