I love four-way stops! People sit there while one person waves for the other car to go, and then someone waves for you to go. Then twenty minutes later, you are still sitting there!
Yesterday, I was pulling up to a four-way stop and saw a truck approaching at the same time on the right. He was getting there a little faster than I was, so I slowed up a bit, so he knew that he got there before me. Then, we wouldn’t be sitting there for twenty minutes playing that game!
I didn’t realize that was this would not be an issue. He rolled up to the stop sign and did not stop. He just kept on rolling, looked at me, and gave me the one-finger salute!! Amazing. I haven’t had that happen to me in ages. As he turned through the intersection, I noticed the big sticker he had on the back of his truck window was a big middle finger!
At first, I thought he was telling me he had read one of my books and didn’t like it, but then, I sensed my man might have a little attitude! Turned out I was heading the same way he was. He put on his blinker to go into the post office, and I followed right along. He parked his car, and I parked mine with one space between us. He got out of his truck, and I rolled down my passenger side window and said, “Excuse me, sir. Are you born again? Are you saved?†Interesting how quickly he turned his head away from me! He crossed over in front of my car, so I rolled down my driver’s window and said, “I just want to see you Heaven one day. Have a good day.†He responded, “You, too.â€Â

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
We live in evil days. Who would even take the time to flip off someone they didn’t even know and for no reason at all? What a sad way to go through life. But, we need to make the most of every opportunity.
One thing to always remember is that when people treat you badly, you never forget them. And when you don’t forget someone, you end up praying for them.
