Spring and summer are great seasons of the year. And now that they are here, it is a great time to get out of our masks and get out of our comfort zones to reach the lost. Look at this neat email someone just sent us:

Mask mandates are being lessened in many communities and gospel opportunities are being renewed!

I drove the bus for a soccer game for our school last night. We visited a town in northern Iowa. God once again answered my prayer to give me someone to talk to.

I smiled at a man and his wife, something I couldn’t do with a mask on. They smiled back, and the conversation was on!

He was a man named Augustine from Mexico. He was fascinated that a “white man” in this little town would befriend him. This opened a door to talk about how we are all made in God’s image and how we are all accountable equally to God.

I then used your “10 out of 10 people die” with him. Augustine then told me how last year he was sick and only given a 2% chance to survive. He survived! I told him I believed he survived to hear God can save him.

He pointed across the street to a Catholic church and said, “When I go to church, that is where I go. But I don’t go much cuz I know it isn’t real.” WOW! We then talked about what God says, not what men say. I left him with gospel tracts, which he promised to read.

Then, later I saw him, and he was showing the tracts to his friends and family.

Praying for Augustine’s salvation. Once again, thank you for your encouragement to boldly share Jesus.

Augustine had a 2% chance to live, but he has a 100% certainty that he will die one day. Say a prayer for Augustine’s salvation and a prayer for this man Mark that he will stay this bold all the days of his life. You be that bold, as well!
