Ron Nyberg is a friend of the ministry and a great writer. He recently penned an article titled, “Word Logic: Reflections of God’s Word.”

In it, he outlined the following points about the Bible:

The #1 (most) accurate ancient literature in the world.
The 1st book ever printed/published on the 1st printing press.
The #1 (most) popular/published book and the (most) published book every year since.
The #1 (most) online-read book today and ever in the world.
The #1 (most) translated book and in the (most) languages in the world.
The #1 (most) progressively revealed and comprehensively written of any book.
The #1 (most) fulfilled prophecies and promises of all books.
The #1 (most) memorized, quoted, cited, and referenced of all books of all time.
The #1 (most) claimed to be written by God, internally and externally.
The #1 (most) studied of all books of all time.
The #1 (most) influential of all books of all time.
The #1 (most) banned and beloved, indestructible book of all time.

In his article under the subheading of “The #1 (Most) Influential Books of All Time,” he wrote further about the influence of the Bible throughout history:

“Many governments, world-empires, philosophies, worldviews, religions, institutions, moral codes, legislation, legal systems, legislative bodies, etc., credit the Bible and belief in God as their authority and basis. Western civilization, Christianity, America’s Founding Fathers, many Nobel Prize winners who benefited all mankind and top leaders in every field, credit the Bible as their most influential book. It clearly is the most influential book, over all others combined.”

The whole article is really good, and I encourage you to read all of it. You can find it at this link: https://ronnyberg.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Word-Logic.pdf.

In general, people don’t hold God’s Word in high enough esteem or the high position it deserves in their lives. We need to treasure the treasure we have in front of us.

Psalm 138:2

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Yes, we can use the name of God a lot in our lives, but are we using His Word even more? And always remember that Jesus is the Word become flesh, which means His Word and His person reflect each other.

Have a great day, week, and lifetime studying the Word of God and giving away its truths to many around you!

P.S. Have you ever thought about handing tracts to high school students as they arrive at or leave school? It is a great chance to plant truth with a segment of our population that is being taught a lot of lies.
