Last fall, I received a copy of One Heartbeat Away from Pastor Monroe at Florence Baptist Temple on Law Enforcement Sunday and really enjoyed it. So, in April, I asked my wife, Fran, to order a case of the books. With the order, you included several additional books and DVDs. I wanted to thank you for your incredibly generous gifts and to let you know who I blessed with your books.
Before my retirement at the end of June, I was a Special Agent with the FBI for over 23 years. As my final duty, I volunteered for a temporary duty assignment to be a field counselor for a New Agent Training class at the FBI Academy. As a graduation gift, I gave each of the 39 new agents in my section a copy of your book.
Thanks again for providing me with the tool to spread the gospel to others.

When we retire from a job, we make sure our business is finished―we have witnessed to those we needed to witness to and have encouraged those we needed to encourage. Then we dust off our feet and move on to the next thing we will do for the Lord, which will always involve soul winning.
We never retire; we refire!! A great brother of the Lord, who is enjoying Jesus right now, told me that one day. I am so glad he never retired from soul winning and finished the race well. He left a great example for me and for many others to follow.
