The god complex of mankind has always fascinated me. A prideful man versus a humble man. Power, power, power. Once you get a little bit of it, most men want more and more and more of it.
Does man want to control the weather? Does man want to be god? I watched this interesting video and found it fascinating:

Did you know that the Disney Company (yes, that Disney!) has been talking about weather manipulation since at least 1959?! Here is a clip from back then films discussing this topic. It is a little bit longer, but it is well worth your time.

People were recently talking about weather manipulation during Hurricanes Helene and Milton, especially when Milton intensified from a tropical storm to a Category 5 hurricane in about 36 hours.
Psalm 77:16-19
The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.
The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
God is in control. The prince of the power of the air is always at work, but God will always be in control. Man tries his best to think he is in control, but he is not.
As the days run short, you can trust the God of the Bible. You can trust that the blood of Christ can cleanse you of all sin. You can trust that the tomb is empty. Keep trusting the King of the Universe. You will be meeting Him soon.
Until the nets are full,
P.S. Tire shops usually have people waiting around for their tires to be changed. Since they are just passing the time, many of them are open to a conversation. And be sure to give the guys in the back tracts as well!
Check out our new tract and pick some up to keep handy this Fall. Keep your arsenal of materials full as you head out to witness at football games, to neighbors raking leaves, the tire shop, the gym, or preparing for Thanksgiving. Summer might be over, but people are still bustling about. Give them seeds of truth so the Lord can use them to draw people to the cross.
