The U.S. Debt Clock has always fascinated me. Click on the link below and look at some of the information included there. Then notice what is happening to those numbers.
What if you had to pay that amount of debt? We have all had to pay a debt before, but that number looks a little bit high to me!
What if you only had one job? And the income from that job went only toward paying off a debt. Something you currently owe. Could you do it?
What if there was a debt clock for sin? How high would that debt be? And what if the income from your one job today went to pay off the sin debt for the whole world? What currency would God accept as payment? Could it even be done?
1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

1 Peter 1:18,19

The answer to that question is a resounding YES! It has been PAID IN FULL!! Go tell someone today that Jesus has paid their sin debt, and it is time for them to repent and believe in Him.

P.S. There are actually people out there who hate parents. You might find that hard to believe, but it is true, and they despise parents having a say in their children’s education. The system keeps giving us more and more evidence that we should be homeschooling our kids. Are we listening?
