God does God-sized things. So when He says He “so loved the world, He didn’t just say it, He demonstrated it. He paid a heavy price by sacrificing His Son on the cross for the sins of the world to show the world that His love is genuine.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Are you showing God that you love Him by putting that love into action? Are you showing Him and others that you love Him with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength?
Listen to my talk Love is a sacrifice, and see how others are putting their love for God, their spouses, and others into action. You might want to pass it along to others, since the world is talking about “love this week.
When you care about someone, you brag about them to others. Be sure to be talking about God and His love, not just this week, but as often as you can with your friends, family, and the people you meet.
