I received this nice email from Josh the other day. He put in a large order and included a comment with it. As I read his comment, I decided to ask him what he and his church were planning to do with all those materials. Oh my! I had no idea what a radical impact they were making for the Lord in South Jersey:
Good to hear from you. We recently wrapped up our annual “Missions Emphasis Month,” in which we host missionaries each weekend for a month that are being sent all over the world to proclaim the good news of the gospel. While this month was taking place, I also challenged our people to be missions-minded here at home in South Jersey! I encouraged each person to take a packet of five of your gospel cards and give one out each day.
In addition, we printed up half-sheets of cardstock listing the Bible classes we offer along with one of your full gospel pamphlets to hang on doors in our community. We want people to know they can come and learn God’s Word at our church, and help them build a solid foundation for their lives. Of course, they need the gospel first and foremost, hence your pamphlet.
May God continue to bless your ministry!
How is your church impacting your community for the Lord? What preparations are you making to share the gospel with them? There is no time like the present to put a plan into action! Another summer is approaching, and it is a good time to put some good, solid gospel materials into the hands of folks.
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
As you can see, Josh’s church gets a lot of its members involved in their ministry outreach. They are training up their younger church members to be gospel-minded in their evangelism outside of their church walls. Strive to make it a job well done for you and your church in your service to the Lord and to others! Keep pressing on in truth and love!
Until the Nets are Full,
P.S. Giving these booklets to the lost people you meet is a great way to give them a thorough yet concise explanation of the gospel. You can pick up copies to give out this summer at the link below:
