John Wesley was an early open-air preacher who worked tirelessly for the gospel during his lifetime. He, and his brother Charles, started a grassroots movement that exploded into what we know as the Methodists here in America.
2 Corinthians 9:7:
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver”
This quote and verse really got me thinking. I need to be a much bigger and better giver before I meet Jesus.
