Recently, I was stretching before exercising, and a man walked past me. I asked him, “Sir, are you born again? Are you saved?” He pulled out one of his ear buds and said, “No, I am not.” Then he just stood there. Most people keep walking, but he didn’t.
So I asked him another question, “What’s holding you back from getting saved?”
Let’s just say we had an interesting give-and-take. We were standing in a beautiful park, and he kept telling me that the nature around us was “God.” Isn’t it interesting how many people want to enjoy God’s creation without thanking Him for that creation?
I pointed to a picnic table and said, “Do you believe someone made that table?” He stated that he did. I then let him know that if someone made that simple picnic table, then Someone must have created the beautiful creation we live in. He didn’t like that analogy, so he said that creation happened by luck and by chance over time.
I could tell he was getting upset because he kept raising his voice. When someone does that with you, just stay nice and calm and even lower your voice some.
Proverbs 15:1
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
I then asked him, “Who do you think Jesus is?” He answered that he was Jesus, I was Jesus, etc. I asked him if he could walk on water. He didn’t like that one either! He stated, “I never said I could!”
Throughout the conversation, he repeatedly mentioned Catholic priests and pedophilia. He was equating evangelical Christianity with Catholicism even though the two aren’t remotely similar. But remember, the great Deceiver’s modus operandi is to deceive mankind. And he doesn’t care how he deceives as long as people don’t find the truth.
I asked if he knew anything about an Islamic practice called “bacha bazi,”which means “dancing boys.” He didn’t. Bacha bazi is a practice in Islam where men will have sex with boys.
Interestingly , he didn’t want to condemn Muslims. He said he worked in Saudi Arabia for 12 years and that Muslims are some of the nicest people he knows. What was his implication? You and I both know what it was.
When he made that statement, it proved how uneducated he was. He was more than likely somewhere in his sixties. Yes, you can be in your sixties and be very uneducated.
By the way, here’s a great website if you want to learn more about the atrocities of the “Religion of Peace”:

Not so peaceful, as you can tell.
He must have hurled the word “hypocrite” at me seven or eight times. So, I decided to go back to stretching; I didn’t need to pull a muscle! As he walked away, he looked back at me and yelled something four different times. It was really kind of sad.
But you know what’s great about encounters like that? You will never forget that person, and you will pray for them.
Less than 15 minutes later, I struck up a conversation with a police officer. What a great give-and-take! Friendly, nice, kind, very open, loved to read, and took some books.
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
If I want to be in the “not ashamed” category, I need to open my mouth more often and stand boldly in the days to come. We won’t be ashamed about Jesus when we reach heaven, so we better not be ashamed about Him while we’re here on earth.
Until the nets are full,
P.S. We are getting some neat feedback on the new Sands of Time tract. People take them readily and even like their picture taken with them!

P.P.S. Got this neat email from a friend of the ministry, Linda, that witnesses all the time:
“She was a nurse and a widow. Then one day, she fell out of a hammock and became paralyzed in her fifties. I met her while riding my bike, and she was riding a wheelchair with pedals worked by her amazing arms. She is born-again, a true delight, loves to share Christ, and pass out books, Bibles and tracts. Tessa is the most wonderful example of what being Christ-like embraces. Though she needs so many things, her spirit is a joy to behold. She recently was in the hospital for months and had life-saving surgery. Instead of complaining, she said that if possible, could I bring her some more tracts and books!”
So what are you going to be doing for Jesus today?
