Last week, I was chatting with a 77-year-old soul winner for the Lord. Ingrid is from Germany. She has a wonderful accent. Best of all, she loves Jesus! And, second best of all, she loves telling others about Jesus! She is really bold in sharing her faith.
She called me again to get more materials. That lady sure runs out of witnessing supplies a lot! She is having fun reaching the lost, even during these times when she is not getting out as much. She has fallen a couple of times and walks with a cane now. Her body is wearing out. It will happen to all of us.
While we were on the phone, we talked about persecution. She said to me, “God has given me living grace, and He will give me dying grace. If they tell me to renounce Jesus, I will sing a song in my head, take my last breath, and enjoy Jesus for eternity!â€Â
She means that, by the way. She said she would sing a Christian song in her head and then deal with whatever earthly thing happens next.
Ingrid is a refreshing soul to chat with. She has figured out life and understands it. She has great peace and great joy as she lives for the Lord and looks forward to honoring the Lord in her death. All of us should live a life like hers!
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:ÂÂ
Philippians 1:21-23
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.ÂÂ
But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.ÂÂ
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Live well and finish well, soldiers!
Until the Nets are Full,
P.S. Are you showing God that you love Him by putting your love for Him into action? Do others know that you love Him with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength? Love is a sacrifice, not only during our lives but at the end of our lives, too.
You might want to listen this talk I gave a few years back, Love is a Sacrifice, to see how others put their love for God and others into action. You might also want to pass it along to others, since the world is talking about “love†this week.
