What a Morning!

Had to get the car looked at. As I was talking with one of the guys who helps me out, I saw another guy waiting around for work on his car. I asked where he was from and he said Pakistan. I let him know that one of my books has been translated into his home language, Urdu. He was very surprised. I let him know how he could download it.
We have many of the materials translated into many languages like Dutch, Romanian, Russian, German, etc. You can go to the page and download the PDF’s and send them to folks who read those languages.
He told me that he reads the English language just fine. Of course he was Muslim and we started talking about that. He stated that he noticed the magnet on my car and read it out loud: “Judgement Day is closer than you think.” He said that is so true.
So as we chatted about who the real Jesus is, he walked to the back of my SUV and the hatch was open. That is where I keep all of my books, booklets, and tracts to giveaway.
He noticed a tract sitting there by Chick Publications (www.chick.com) and read the title out loud again: “Love The Jewish People.” He emphatically said, “No.”
Muslims have been taught to hate the Jews with an undying passion. I told them no. We shouldn’t hate anyone. I then hugged the Afghanistan guy and the Pakistani man and let them know that I don’t hate them. I want them to have the truth.
He then told me his name was Mehmood. He said it had something to do with Mohammad.
Grok said: “One of the Prophet Muhammad’s many honorable names/titles is Mahmud (Mehmood), meaning he is the one who will be praised on the Day of Judgment.”
He let me know, as most Muslims will, that Mohammad is the final prophet and the greatest prophet. The moment they say that, they are telling you that Jesus is inferior to Mohammed. No can do.
Colossians 1:15-17 “ Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
There is no way on earth that the Creator of the universe is inferior to any man that He created. That is a good point to make with them.
He took both booklets and a tract and we will see what God does with that.
I went to pick up a green tea for the morning and a lady was walking out of the store. She was reading that same magnet on my car. I said, “Español?” She responded, “Si.”
So I opened my back hatch and got her a Spanish copy of One Heartbeat Away and a Spanish gospel tract (www.chick.com) She was very grateful and thankful.
Then I had the opportunity to give some materials to the three people working there and two of them were in hijabs.
As I was getting back on the highway, I of course made a wrong turn. But was it a wrong turn? I prayed that morning for God to order my feet. Take me where He wanted me to go. And that also means to move my car to where He wanted it to be.
As I was stopped at a red light, there was a guy on the corner with a sign. I called him over. Yes, I talk with those folks. Yes, I give them materials to read. Yes, you can give them a gift card for food or a blessing. Those souls matter to God.
When I give them a blessing, I always remind them: no drugs, no alcohol, and no smokes with the blessing. I make them make a commitment and then have them say, “Thank you Jesus!” They all do it. Now what they do with the blessing is now between them and God.
As the man walked over, I asked his name. Robert was a very interesting guy. Very coherent, easy to talk to, and his faculties were good. I asked him, “Who died?” Now there is a reason I asked that question. He had two teardrops under one of his eyes. If you know anything about gangs or have ever done prison ministry, those teardrops represent someone who has passed away. He let me know that his mom and sister had passed.
I handed him a booklet and a tract and told him that I wanted him to read them, and then gave him a blessing and let him know what he couldn’t use it for. He said, “I am getting some food with this.”
I am finally old enough to know that I would rather have God order my steps as I go through this life than Mark doing it any day of the week.
Psalm 37:23 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”
