How could someone be that smart and that dumb at the same time? Temperatures will go up 8 to 10 degrees? Not even close.
He has stated before that the earth should have 2 billion people and there is even a quote attributed to him that the population should be 250 to 300 million people. Where does that number even come from?
But think that through. We currently have over 8 billion people on earth. How would you get from 8 billion to 2 billion? I guess you can figure that one out.
Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
God says to be fruitful and multiply and many of the Globalists want a huge population reduction. Which one will you go with?
When you study Ted’s life, he grew up in a Christian home. Even had thoughts of being a missionary! But tragedy struck. His younger sister died when he was in his teens. From some reading I have done, that was when his walk away from God began to happen. Basically, if God couldn’t save his sister, he wanted nothing to do with that God. During his life he claimed to be an atheist.
Which way will your feet move when tragedy crosses your path?
He actually co-owned a restaurant chain called Ted’s Montana Grill. I was eating in there one time and my waitress said, “Have you met Mr. Turner before?” I let her know I had not and she told me that he had just walked in. He actually bought the whole building, about four or five stories, and he lived on the top floor.
I didn’t want to bother him so I asked the waitress if I signed one of my books for him, would she give it to him. She is a nice lady who has been my waitress before. She said, “Most definitely!”
After finishing up and getting ready to hit the streets to do some witnessing, I ended up passing by his corner table. I don’t like interrupting people’s meals. “Celebrities,” whatever that word means, hate it. A friend of mine is a “celebrity.” We have been interrupted so many times when eating. I said to him one time, “Don’t they know we are eating?” He responded, “They don’t care!” Good point.
But I decided to approach his table and do something different. Mr. Turner was there with a lady and another guy sitting across from him. As I approached, the other guy gave me the death stare! I was either Darth Vader or the Antichrist! I am not sure which.
I just nodded at him, looked at Mr. Turner and said, “I hope you enjoy the book.” He was super gracious and kind. The lady next to him waved the book at me and said she would enjoy it. He shook my hand and I walked away.
I have thought about that encounter before. I know I should have been bolder. Oh well. I tried. I tried to plant a seed.
But when I would read about him and read about him getting sick, I would pray for him. Prayer works. I would also pray for someone in his inner circle to get saved and witness to him. They already have the friendship with him and he would be more apt to listen to them. We will see what happened when we get to the other side.
Ted definitely had the wisdom of the world, but did he ever garner the wisdom of God?
If you have money, use it for Kingdom work.
If you have hands, use them to hand out gospel tracts.
If you have a mouth, use it to preach the gospel to the lost and encourage other believers.
Don’t waste your life.
