I received this neat email from Susy. Take a read:
Hi Mark,
Just wanted to let you know that two of your booklets found their way into the hands of two different Catholics at the Dulles airport this morning.
I was returning from my brother’s wedding and had put two of your booklets in my luggage, in case the Lord opened doors for conversations. Sure enough, He did!
While waiting for my flight, I saw a dad with what looked to be his two daughters looking for seats by the gate. As a party of three, I could see they were having difficulties finding three in a row. I was sitting in the middle of an empty row, so I waved them over and indicated I could move to the end.
He introduced himself, and we immediately got into a spiritual conversation. He is a devout Catholic, and they were returning from a Catholic conference. He said he could tell I was a Christian by my smile. At the end of our conversation, I gave him your Second Greatest Lie… booklet. He recognized your name and had read some of your stuff before. He thought you were wrong about Catholicism, so I encouraged him to reach out to you and said that I was sure you would welcome a dialogue. So, if you hear from Andrew from Kansas, it might be him!
The other is a young guy who I met on the plane. After I sat down beside him, the flight attendant brought him a Bible! He had forgotten it in the terminal, but it had his name in it, so they found him. That started another conversation. He’s a young guy who grew up Catholic and then walked away. Now, he’s curious again and reading the Bible for himself. I gave him the same booklet.
