Every day is a good day in the Lord. There is always a lost person to plant a seed of truth in or a Christian to encourage and learn something from.
Two days ago, I hung out with these two guys:

Well, they aren’t just two guys; they are two rock-solid men of the Lord!
In the picture, you’ll see myself, Tim, and John. We ended up spending eight hours together. What a time! We had our Bibles out and talked about eternal security, tongues, Calvinism, Bible translations, marriage, and a host of other topics. What a give-and-take! It was so nice to be with men of God who love the Word of God as much as they do.
1 Thessalonians 2:8
So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
Romans 1:11
For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
1 Thessalonians 3:8
For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
But it was also fun to hear all of the witnessing stories we were sharing. Tim lives in Vegas, and you can always find him handing tracts out on Fremont Street or on one of the bridges there. This was the first time I had met Tim, even though I have been on his radio show a few times.
John is a pilot. So what does that mean? God takes him all over the place to witness to pilots and people in airports.
Then at one point during the day, John called Mike. Who is Mike? Well, he is another pilot who is also a bold soul-winner! So it was the three of us in person and Mike on speakerphone. Mike is so bold. He and Tim have now been in 58 countries to share the gospel and hand out tracts! Did you read that? Fifty-eight countries!!!!
Do you ever find yourself around other men of God and feel like a wimp for Jesus? That was me on that day. It so encouraged me to pick up the pace. Keep on keeping on. Finish the race well.
Do you have any Christian buddies to spend time and encourage you to be another Peter or Paul, or a Martha or Mary? Make sure you find friends like them, because they will encourage you and you will encourage them!
Until the nets are full,

P.S. As I was driving down South to meet John and Tim, I stopped at a gas station to get some coffee. After witnessing a bit, and as I was pulling out, I saw an all-black car with tinted windows. The car was parked over on the side, and the driver’s side door was open. I couldn’t see who was in it. So, I pulled in a few spaces away and got out of my car. I was a little nervous. Didn’t know what was going to take place. Grabbed a couple of booklets and tracts.

I walked up and asked about his car. Then I started witnessing. I reached in my pocket, pulled out a $10 bill, and handed it to Tyreek. I said, “Jesus said it is more blessed to give than to receive. Use it for gas or something.” He responded with big eyes, “How did you know?” I stated, “Know what?”
Well, Tyreek was sitting there trying to find some DoorDash orders because he had no money for gas. He said he had gone to the bank, etc. I asked how much he had in his account. He told me, “$3.64.” I never, ever want to forget that there is someone that will cross my path at some point who has only $3.64 to their name. That is why we want to be givers and blessers as we represent Jesus.
Tyreek just started reading again. So, he walked over to my car to get a book and some booklets for him and a book for his mom. I gave him a few more nickels and said, “Let’s pray.” I prayed for his biblical salvation and how he could trust the Lord to always provide. When he pulled his head up, he was crying. Tyreek is 28 and knows he needs the Lord. He knows there is a God after hearing the things I shared with him and after that encounter.
As I was driving away, I looked back and saw Tyreek taking pictures of the messages on my car. I don’t know who he is going to send those pictures to, but I do know he will never forget that encounter.
Please say a prayer for Tyreek’s salvation. Go and meet a Tyreek today!
P.P.S.
