A Father’s Impact

Jun 4, 2025

Do you even have a clue about how important a father is in a child’s life? Do you even have a clue about how important a biblical father is in a child’s life?

If a father is not present in the home, there will likely be some major consequences for that child and for society as a whole.

Proverbs 3:11-12

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Ephesians 6:4

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Watch this short video and hear some of those consequences that might just happen without having dad around.

Many thanks for all of you fathers who have invested so much into your children’s lives!

Until the nets are full,

P.S. You do realize that you can witness anytime and anywhere right? Virginia is a serious woman of the Lord. She makes the most out of every opportunity. Praise ye the Lord!!

Mark,

The Lord has been so good to keep me running and stopping to give tracts as I run!

I decided to try a full marathon but I wanted the Lord to be lifted up.  So a sister in Christ offered to make this shirt for me!

Many good responses!

I did finish it. Took me 5 hours and 33 min!

The last 10 miles a believer from Ghana ran with me! It was a blessing.

I just wanted to share as I remember you saying, I pray the Lord keeps you running for Him!

God bless

Virginia
