While walking at the park today, I ran into a mom and her two kids who were really nice and friendly to me. Kind of weird. Then, the other day, a waiter was super kind. Exemplary service. I am sure he just wanted a good tip. And, today, a guy in my neighborhood, who has a different skin tone than I have, actually waved at me while I was parking my car. But, I am about sick and tired of this kind of behavior from folks.
What the World Needs Now
I have finally figured out what this world needs. It needs more hatred. Like, a lot more of it.“The more hatred the better” should really be our motto. Misery loves company. The more the merrier. What a joy this place would be if we could turn up the hatred dial to full blast.
Psalm 139:19-21
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
Do you hate blasphemers? Do you hate those who mock God? Do you hate the wicked people of the world who promote and push their wickedness onto so many? Do you “hate” them enough to tell them they can repent and believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins?

The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
Idols, idols everywhere. Seems to be consistent all over the earth. Museums of art? Go into one of those places some day and please tell me how some of that stuff can really be considered art. Actually, some of it looks like creations I made back in kindergarten!
Tennis shoes selling for $1,000 a pair? Seriously?
There cannot really be an Instagram account that chronicles the expensive tennis shoes that preachers wear, can there?

I guess if we didn’t watch the world so much, we wouldn’t idolize the things of the world so much. Just a guess.
Proverbs 6:16-19
These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
A prideful look will get us nowhere. That look typically happens before one falls flat on their face.
Why does God hate dishonesty? Because He is the embodiment of Truth.
Satan is a murderer. He loves to shed innocent blood. Abortion is one of his great tools to make a mockery of God’s love for babies and all people that He has created.
Evil hearts devise evil thoughts. A new heart is truly the only solution.
Being fast is a great thing when running the 100-meter dash, but it’s a bad thing when running toward evil or mischief. But if someone is rushing toward evil, that is when they will want one of those expensive sneakers to blow out to keep them from making it all the way to that evil destination.
Lying is bad enough, but what if someone takes an oath to tell the truth and then still lies? Ever seen that in a courtroom? How would the jury come to the right conclusion if they have done that?
Being a Berean is a great thing in this time of false teaching that is found everywhere and anywhere. But if your goal is just to cause strife and mock people of the faith, God won’t look kindly upon that.
Zechariah 8:17
And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.
Still amazing to me how people can take false oaths all the time, and it seems like no big deal. How can anyone take the false oaths of Freemasonry and, at the same time, claim to be a brother in the Lord?

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Summer of Hate
Well, maybe hate isn’t such a bad thing. Why don’t we hate evil with a little bit more hatred than we have in the past?
Someone told me yesterday that he went to a bachelor party getaway with some friends. But he knew what would probably happen. He knew at some point they would invite some strippers to come there. These were friends of his from his worldly past. He had already decided in his heart what he would do if that occurred. Sure enough, later on, two ladies showed up. And, he did what he knew he would. He got up and left. You see, he hates evil much more now because he is closer to the Lord.
1 Corinthians 5:9,10
I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
So, I am kind of hoping you have a little bit more hatred in your life this summer. Maybe make this the “Summer of Hate.”
What is that McDonald’s slogan? I don’t really know because I don’t go there. I am a finely-tuned machine. I can’t put that type of fuel in this potential Navy Seal body. I think the slogan is, “I’m Hatin’ It.” Yes, I think that is it. Looks like I am going to dinner there later tonight after all.
