I saw this picture the other day and found it really fascinating.

They say it is from Long Beach, CA back in 1910!
What do you notice as you see this picture? I really like the building with the white columns, porches, and verandas. That is some beautiful architecture there.
The Orange Cider for 5 cents looks tasty! I might even buy one of those 5-cent cigars, and I don’t even smoke! The St. Louis Cafe’ seems like a good place to rest the feet and get something to drink.
I wasn’t able to tell, but how many people do you see on their devices? How many people have things sticking in their ears that would prevent them from hearing someone actually talk with them? If you figure it out, please let me know!
But the first thing I thought to myself was,“What a great place to witness! Look again at the picture. People just walking around—perfect for handing out tracts. People just killing time—perfect for having eternal conversations. I mean, this is just a great setting for reaching the lost.

A friend of the ministry just got back from Florida. The boardwalk on Hollywood Beach is one of her favorite places to witness. How about you?
Just got a call today from a guy who loves to witness on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. He and his team are out there every Friday speaking on a street corner and doing lots of one-on-one witnessing. They hand out tons of tracts and booklets. He just ordered some more booklets and plans on writing a letter and sending a booklet to every U.S. Senator in Washington DC! Please pray that those booklets will get into the right hands and people will be saved and encouraged by what they read.
Get Truth to Them
That same gentleman from New Orleans told me a story about one of his friends. The guy’s daughter was with her mom at a supermarket. She picked up something from the floor and gave it to her mom. The mom told her daughter, “It must be one of those God things.” She put it in her purse, and when they got home, she set the tract on the coffee table. They ended up going to bed before her husband came home from work. He came home, sat down, and picked up the tract. After reading it, he repented of his sins and got saved! A true born-again experience! Then his wife and daughter got saved! And they are still serving the Lord all these years later. You never, ever know what God might do with a tract you hand out or with one that someone else tosses on the floor.
After that call, I got another one! Walt is a faithful man of God. Loves to reach the lost. He called to order 3,000 Freedom tracts! He and his buddy handed out over 200 of them at a Walmart in 30 minutes! He said only one person turned them down. He and his friends love to witness all over Cincinnati. He said that you have a real winner with that tract!
And I just got another phone call! I had sent a lady all three of our fiction books. She read Reunion in one sitting! It really made a deep impact on her. How did she hear about the ministry? Her fiance’ The Watchmen in jail. He got a hold of her and told her she needed to read that book and get right with the Lord. So, we sent Sandra some books, and she is doing some great searching to figure out who Jesus is. Please pray for her and her fiance’. She said that he has been saved and is now reaching out to many others while he is in jail! Praise ye the Lord!!
Get Up and Go
Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Do you have any “Go” left in you? I mean, to just get up and go to where the lost are? Even if you are shy, just go to where they are. Stand there for five minutes and look at those souls. They are heading somewhere today and they are heading somewhere for eternity.
Matthew 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
People need rest in these weary times. Give them hope. Give them Jesus.
Proverbs 11:30
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
We should all pray for wisdom, but we should just live wisdom as well. Be a soul winner and you are being wise.
Matthew 10:32,33
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Your words matter. Make them count for eternity.
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Are you saved? If not, today is the day of salvation. If so, today is the day to go tell someone.
