P.S. Life can be burdensome at times, but with Jesus, there is always hope. Think about the weight the pastor mentioned below carried for his daughter. Think about the rejoicing going on in Heaven over her now. Are you helping the lost to be found? Are you picking up your cross and following Jesus today?

A couple nights ago, at the local county jail, we were talking about the amazing complexities of the human body because we had just read part of Psalm 139. One of the inmates, Alysa, blurted out a totally out-of-context comment about you and your book One Heartbeat Away. She kept saying continually how it grabbed her attention and how she read it in a day. I guess something we said reminded her of it. She is a preacher’s daughter, and she finally came to Christ while in jail. Before, it was her father’s faith she was trying to live, but now, she fully embraces it. She now loves reading Scripture and is very passionate about it.
