People in life want freedom, but what is true freedom? Is it the freedom to live unrestrained or is it to seek, uphold, and live in truth? This sturdy and colorful tract gives the clear message that Jesus Christ came to set free those who have become bound in sin. It gives the hope of forgiveness and the offer of true eternal freedom in Christ.
“Freedom” – Back Wording
Newest Tract! Many have said the best things in life are free, but what is real freedom? One definition of freedom is “the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.” Freedom is something everyone hopes for, but does living however you want really make you free?
Many people take liberties with the freedoms God has given them. The Bible says you can be a slave to sin. Have you ever told a lie? Ever stolen anything? Ever lusted in your heart? Liars, thieves, and adulterers trap themselves in sin. They need forgiveness. The penalty for sin becomes a debt you owe to God, which means you are not free. Sinners need a Savior to set them free. The One who never sinned is the only One who can give you true freedom. Jesus died on the cross to forgive sin and resurrected from the dead to prove He can release you from the sentence of Hell. When you repent and trust Him to pay your sin debt, you owe nothing for your sin. You are born again and set free!
Freedom and Truth go hand in hand. Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” and “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:32,36). Let freedom ring from the cross of Christ into your heart and for all of eternity! “Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we’re free at last!”
