Eternity is rushing towards us.
You and everyone else must be ready.

Ecclesiastes 10:2:

“A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left.”

People have been asking me about the upcoming election and how I am going to vote. Sometimes, I think elections and voting are much simpler than we make them.

Proverbs 14:34:

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Psalm 82:3:

“Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.”

One thing I will not do is vote for anyone who believes it is okay to murder babies. That is a hill I won’t go over. As I always tell people, if you don’t care about a baby, you don’t care about me. Now, they might try to make me think they really do care, but in the end, they really don’t.

I am also a firm, firm believer in smaller government. We are $19 trillion in debt! How did we ever get to this point, and how do politicians plan to pay that off? There is really no way to pay it back, and there is trouble coming down the pike because of it.

The following link will take you to one of the scariest sites out on the web. If you dare to click on it, you may be amazed by what you see. By the way, which of the two candidates might actually be able to get some of those numbers moving in a different direction?

Mom and I went, one day, to see Hillary’s America by Dinesh D’Souza. If you go see it, you will learn so much about the history of the Democratic Party and what it is about, if you don’t already know. Also Dr. Carol Swain, Professor of Law at Vanderbilt University, is featured in this film; and she is worth the price of admission alone. You can google her to find out more about her writings. Watch some of her talks. Boy, she sure gets you thinking.

Proverbs 16:12:

“It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.”

Proverbs 21:6:

“The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.”

Leviticus 19:11:

“Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.”

Also, I highly recommend that everyone watch the documentary Clinton Cash. It, too, is well worth your time. I don’t think you will ever be able to think of the Clinton family in the same way again after watching it.

If you aren’t familiar with what graft is or the degree to which people can take advantage of others, you will after watching this documentary. You will also understand why people from Haiti were picketing outside of the Democratic National Convention.

One of the things to remember in life is that you can judge people by their enemies. Some of Mr. Trump’s enemies include Planned Parenthood, the Mainstream Media, just about all of Hollywood, the Democratic and Republican elite, Elites in general, Big Government, gun control advocates, Radical Islam, and the list goes on and on and on.

When Apple, Twitter, Google, and Instagram are against you, you have made some good enemies!

Trump is living proof of Churchill’s dictum:

Also remember, there is only one party trying to force the gay agenda; the transgender agenda; and the allowing of men in women’s restrooms, locker rooms, and showers agenda. If you think these are wrong, you don’t vote for a party that thinks these are right. Remember, Democrats and liberals are the ones trying to take away the rights of Christians. They were the ones who issued subpoenas demanding that pastors turn over to the city of Houston their sermons dealing with homosexuality, and they are the ones telling Christians that they must bake a wedding cake for anyone and everyone.

Just to show you how important this election is, Ted Cruz has now endorsed Mr. Trump for President. When you read why he did that, something very interesting pops out. He recognizes, and so should we, the mega importance of the upcoming Supreme Court Justice appointments. We elect Presidents for four-year terms, and the Justices that the next president appoints, will in some cases, serve lifelong tenures. Their decisions will shape what our country looks like during the next 30 to 40 years:

“Six key policy differences inform my decision. First, and most important, the Supreme Court. For anyone concerned about the Bill of Rights — free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment — the Court hangs in the balance. I have spent my professional career fighting before the Court to defend the Constitution. We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue. Trump, in contrast, has promised to appoint justices ‘in the mold of Scalia.’

“For some time, I have been seeking greater specificity on this issue, and today the Trump campaign provided that, releasing a very strong list of potential Supreme Court nominees — including Sen. Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice — and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list. This commitment matters, and it provides a serious reason for voters to choose to support Trump.”

―Ted Cruz,

Someone sent this to me the other day. It was a good read. I like things that make me think.

My friend and one-time fellow pastor, Dalton Douglas, shares some powerful thoughts concerning Donald Trump: “I’ve heard too many say lately that we, the American people have no choice in this November election! Do you really think that God would leave us with no choice? Come on people! Where’s your faith? He has heard our cries!”

Donald Trump did not steal your money.

Donald Trump did not raise your taxes.

Donald Trump did not quadruple the price of food.

Donald Trump is not starting a race war.

Donald Trump did not leave any US soldiers in Benghazi to be slaughtered and desecrated by Muslims.

Donald Trump did not send the US Navy to fight for Syrian Al-Qaeda.

Donald Trump did not arm ISIS and systematically exterminate Christians throughout the Middle East.

Donald Trump did not betray Israel.

Donald Trump did not provide financing and technology to Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

Donald Trump did not give our military secrets to China.

Donald Trump did not remove our nuclear missile shield in Poland at the behest of Russia.

Donald Trump did not shrivel our military, and betray our veterans.

Donald Trump did not cripple our economy.

Donald Trump did not increase our debt to 20 trillion dollars.

Donald Trump did not ruin our credit, twice.

Donald Trump did not double African American unemployment.

Donald Trump did not increase welfare to a record level for eight years.

Donald Trump did not sign a law making it legal to execute and imprison Americans.

Donald Trump did not set free all of terrorists in Guantanamo bay.

Donald Trump did not steal your rights, violate US Constitutional law, or commit treason hundreds of times.

Yet Trump is being ripped apart in the news, nonstop. Barrack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton and the criminals occupying our government, are not.

The media is the Democratic Party; save our culture. Stop listening to them!

There are 94 million people out of the labor force right now. Generally, people want to be employed; but when there are fewer jobs and the incentive for working is removed by government programs, they leave the work force. Something needs to change, and something needs to change quickly.

We need thinkers today. People who will think these issues through, set aside their personal grievances, and vote for what is best for the nation. Be careful if you do raise your kids up to be thinkers. They might just amaze you one day with what comes out of their mouths. This young person is fourteen years old, and he gets it. You can tell that he is a well-raised young man.

Our country needs a president who will lead responsibly and make the well-being and protection of its citizenry a first priority. We need a president who doesn’t give into corruption by pandering to special or overseas interests for personal gain. One who uses the office of President to uphold our nation’s laws, rather than administrate above the law.

Hillary’s long-standing abuse of power is irrefutable, which is why corrupt leaders around the world love her. The Clintons have peddled influence for gain, laundered enormous sums of money through the Clinton Foundation, and covered their tracks which are now surfacing through the ever-unfolding server/email scandal. There’s Benghazi, Travelgate, Whitewater, Iowa Caucus fraud, Filegate, harassment of Bill’s sexual victims and whistleblowers, the Vince Foster affair, selling high-tech secrets to China, selling our uranium resources to foreign entities, blatant violation of campaign finance regulations, and more. No wonder they wield the power they do. Their track record says it all.

This gentleman, Ben Garrison, creates some very thought-provoking editorial cartoons. I thought you might like this one:

I worked for Domino’s Pizza eons ago in their distribution division. One of the things that absolutely stunned me was how much effort went into getting a pizza to your front door! All I used to do was pick up the phone and call, and thirty minutes later my taste buds were happy! But when I started working for Domino’s, I learned so much. First and foremost, if you don’t have a team firing on all cylinders and doing everything right, that pizza is not going to arrive to a customer the way it should.

Clearly, Mr. Trump could not have the success he has had without a good team around him. Good leaders choose good people for their management team. Mike Pence is a great selection for a running mate. You should listen to how Mr. Trump talks about Mr. Pence. You can tell he has developed a deep, deep respect for him in a very short time. I think God is using Mr. Pence very strongly in Donald’s life.

Mr. Trump also has a ministerial team that gives him counsel. Things like this give me good hope that he would also surround himself with excellent advisors in the White House so that he honors the office of President.

The allegations about the Clintons stealing furniture and other items from the White House on their way out of office hit very deep. Also, the defacing of the property left behind is really beyond the pale. A very simple question for you: If you wouldn’t give someone like that the keys to your house, why would you give them the keys to the White House (The People’s House)?

Further, can we really afford someone in the White House at this juncture in time who makes so many mistakes?

There is plenty of mischief depicted in this editorial cartoon that should upset every American. Wouldn’t we want to support those who are ready to expose and bring down such a house of lies? Shouldn’t we want to bring this kind of corruption to a screeching halt?

So one thing I try to always remind myself of when casting my vote for a political candidate is this is not a pastoral search committee! I am not looking for someone to be the pastor of my church. I am looking for someone to run the government. It would be nice if that person were a rock-solid born-again believer in Jesus Christ who knows they will answer to God one day, but that isn’t always the choice we get.

If Hillary Clinton is elected president, there is a zero percent chance that Christians will be better off four years from now in this country. If Donald Trump is elected President, there is at least the possibility that Christians will be better off four years from now in America.

I will have no problem walking into a voting booth and pulling the lever for Mr. Trump. I will look at the candidates running for office in other political races to see which of them believes in smaller government and believes the life of a baby matters. From there, it is easy for me to cast my vote.

This is not the election to sit home and not vote. Way too important. The influence of the Christian ballot is well-known for impacting the outcome of any election. Time to get on the Trump Train. It is leaving soon, so get as many people to come aboard as you can.

If you want the status quo and to keep heading down the same track, you know who to vote for. If you want change and to head down a different track, you know who to vote for, as well.

America is one amazing country! Just do some traveling outside our country and you will want to come back home! Please pray for this nation. God has graciously not brought total judgment on us yet. His mercy endureth forever. What a great God! Stay blessed, and stay bold in reaching the lost!!
